We were at the beach recently and on a very rainy day, this black pigeon landed on our beach condo railing, 22 floors high. He was so cute when he looked like he was making faces at me, or maybe he was trying to figure out what I was doing when I was photographing him. Regardless, he let me get pretty close.
It was a pleasure to have the opportunity to photograph this very talented Senior! He is headed to Ga Tech in the Fall where he will march with their band playing snare drum! Your future is bright, my friend! Shine On!!
My daughter and I enjoyed a nice mother/daughter weekend in Chattanooga while my husband and son stayed home and rode go karts. 
I started taking my daughter’s Senior Photos (I am still choking on that phrase) while in some very characteristic Chattanooga spots. I still can’t believe she’ll be a Senior in high School next year. Enjoy every moment, my friends! Time passes by just too fast.

This gorgeous creature has landed on our deck railing a few times in the past couple of weeks, but my camera is usually in the other room. This day I happened to have it within reach and was able to capture this shot. He definitely had his eye on something but I definitely had my eye on him!
The hubby and I took a beach trip together for our 20th Anniversary without kids and we had a wonderful time. Most of the week there was rain but the clouds and storms in the distance that made for some beautiful photos. This is one of my favorite moments…. I woke up around 5am this particular morning, looked out the window and saw this! I have always loved the beach and scenes like this are one of the reasons why! Every day is different and provides a beautiful, new canvas to work with. One day I hope to live there. 🙂

Do not leave me alone with flowers or they will be photographed!! This lovely tulip was used for a promposal last week. I brought them home for a few hours and they looked so pretty that I had to photograph them. I’m so ready for Spring and more flowers!
What a fun photo shoot this was! This beautiful ballerina has style and grace and a great deal of talent! I wish her much success in the future!
It’s hard to believe that this sweet, beautiful, girl is a Senior in High School!! She also happens to be my niece and was such a good sport during this photo shoot over Thanksgiving weekend. I wish her so much happiness and success in life!!
