Fall is in the Air

I love to get outside and just take photos… of anything.  It is very peaceful and relaxing for me.  I see birds, flowers, butterflies, and especially this time of year… the leaves that are starting to change colors and “fall”.

Some might think that Fall Leaves are just “dead” leaves, but to me… they are filled with beautiful patterns, textures, and colors, as they have completed their time of service and get to go out in style. 🙂

I guess it all depends on your perspective.

I love the change of season…especially this one.

Find Beauty in all things.

Homecoming 2017

It was a pleasure to photograph my daughter and her friends for Homecoming this past weekend.  I enjoy being a photographer and love to capture some meaningful and very fun moments.  What a great group of kids I got to photograph this day and a special thank you to them for letting me post these photos.  What a fun day!!

Finding Beauty in the Tiniest Thing

We have had so much rain here the past few months.  The first week of school was accompanied with morning rain, every day.  Every thing is looking green and fresh.   After the kids were all off to school, I snuck outside and got a few shots of our very happy crepe myrtle.  I love the drops hanging off of the little buds.  Beauty can be found in the smallest places.

Today, we FINALLY got an opportunity to visit the The Anderson’s Sunflowers in Cumming, GA.  It was an awesome place to visit!  I love sunflowers and really enjoyed being around so many of them.  It is a wonderful place to take pictures and a photographer’s dream!  You can even buy some to take home with you or pick your own! Hope you enjoy and if you have a chance, go for a visit and take your camera!

Sammy’s New Collar and Leash

My dog, Sammy, is such a ham!  I think he knows how cute he is.  Today, I put a new collar and leash on him made from my friend at www.stitchpet.com.  He loved it.  Of course, he got excited because he was going for a walk but he strutted around our house right by my side until we went OUTSIDE.  I took him outside to get a few pictures and of course, he was so patient, obedient, and did what I needed him to do.  He’s such a good boy.

If you are looking for unique gift ideas, check out www.stitchpaint.com.  They have some really cute handmade products.  They also made this leash and collar by hand.  The leash and collar set is soft, cute, comfortable, AND durable.  The leash also comes with a cute poo bag holder.  Check out their website and their products and don’t forget to shop for your furry friends.  Sammy approves for sure!!

Oh Deer!

We live in an area where there are lots of deer.  They usually move around together.  It is not uncommon for the deer to be in our front yard, taking naps in our back yard, or crossing the street.  Today this beauty was alone and spent a lot of time in our front and side yard.  This deer had darker coloring than normal and was very shiny.  So beautiful.  So happy they like our yard.
