This gorgeous creature has landed on our deck railing a few times in the past couple of weeks, but my camera is usually in the other room. This day I happened to have it within reach and was able to capture this shot. He definitely had his eye on something but I definitely had my eye on him!
It’s hard to believe that this sweet, beautiful, girl is a Senior in High School!! She also happens to be my niece and was such a good sport during this photo shoot over Thanksgiving weekend. I wish her so much happiness and success in life!!
Many times I am authorized to use some of the athletes in my sports photography but have a hard time maneuvering around those I am not authorized to use. These photos are too good NOT to post, but I gave a little bit of an enhanced focal point and some editing action to help show the awesomeness of this amazing volleyball player and blur out the players I could not use. I saw some awesome strength on the court during this photo shoot!

It was a pleasure to photograph my daughter and her friends for Homecoming this past weekend. I enjoy being a photographer and love to capture some meaningful and very fun moments. What a great group of kids I got to photograph this day and a special thank you to them for letting me post these photos. What a fun day!!
Today, we FINALLY got an opportunity to visit the The Anderson’s Sunflowers in Cumming, GA. It was an awesome place to visit! I love sunflowers and really enjoyed being around so many of them. It is a wonderful place to take pictures and a photographer’s dream! You can even buy some to take home with you or pick your own! Hope you enjoy and if you have a chance, go for a visit and take your camera!
My dog, Sammy, is such a ham! I think he knows how cute he is. Today, I put a new collar and leash on him made from my friend at www.stitchpet.com. He loved it. Of course, he got excited because he was going for a walk but he strutted around our house right by my side until we went OUTSIDE. I took him outside to get a few pictures and of course, he was so patient, obedient, and did what I needed him to do. He’s such a good boy.

We live in an area where there are lots of deer. They usually move around together. It is not uncommon for the deer to be in our front yard, taking naps in our back yard, or crossing the street. Today this beauty was alone and spent a lot of time in our front and side yard. This deer had darker coloring than normal and was very shiny. So beautiful. So happy they like our yard.
I love taking pictures of my dog, Sammy.
He loves to lay outside on our deck and with the bright sunny days we’ve had lately, the lighting has been perfect to capture the perfect shot. He’s so handsome and a great subject to photograph.
When you see beauty in ordinary daily life, capture it!
